haunted

Long recognized as America’s most haunted house both by parapsychologists and the media, The Tate Mansion aka Rambling Rose is a hundred-room California estate once owned by the Tate family and lived in by Sabrina Devour'Tate and her story is retold in the Devour Family three book series.

In this spine-tingling chronicle, Sabrina tells the incredible story of how she was drawn to this mansion, its chilling history, and the incredible encounters she had with the ghosts and the demonic entity that forever changed her beliefs about the supernatural—and just may change yours.

Amid the sometimes terrifying, sometimes benevolent Hauntings, her years at The Tate Mansion included death threats from the townspeople, the tragic loss of friends, a catastrophic romantic betrayal, and other personal challenges. They would all converge with the paranormal phenomena around her into one cataclysmic event...!

As a Christian I believe in good and evil, light and dark, for you can’t have one without the other but the ONLY way to fight malevolent forces is through God! Every ghost story you’ve ever heard usually ends with the tormented seeking assistance from Our Lord and comfort in the Bible …

So, when you read my books, be sure your faith is strong!

A haunted house is defined as building that people live in that is a center for supernatural occurrences or paranormal phenomena. A haunted house may contain ghosts, poltergeists, or even demons and even malevolent entities.

Haunted houses are often regarded to contain the spirits of deceased beings who may have been former residents or were familiar with the property. Supernatural activity inside homes is said to be mainly associated with violent or tragic events in the building's past such as murder, accidental death, or suicide — sometimes in the recent or ancient past. Amongst many cultures and religions it is believed that the essence of a being such as the 'soul' continues to exist. Some philosophical and religious views argue that the 'spirits' of those who have died have not 'passed over' and are trapped inside the property where their memories and energy is strong. Entities which are said to 'haunt' homes are often believed to make noises, appear as apparitions, and shift or launch physical objects. This is sometimes manifested into 'poltergeist activity'; poltergeist meaning 'noisy spirit'. Traditionally an exorcism is the method used to remove unwelcome spirits from the property.
Legends about haunted houses have long appeared in literature. Haunting is used as a plot device in gothic or horror fiction or, more lately, paranormal-based fiction.
